Meet the Candidate
Amanda Faryar

Engineer. Problem solver. Mom. Believer that leadership should make sense.
My husband, Neema, and I chose Middletown because we believed it was the kind of community where families could put down roots and children could thrive. My husband proudly serves the community as a firefighter, and I have built my career as a transportation engineer, bringing people together, solving complex problems, and making thoughtful decisions that serve the public.
After overcoming breast cancer, I became even more intentional about where I wanted to invest my time and energy, leading me to become more involved in the schools and community my family had chosen. I am running for the Board of Education because I believe leadership should be respectful, decisions should make sense, and taxpayer resources should be cared for responsibly.
“I believe leadership should make sense.”
