Veteran. Volunteer. Grandma. Believer that our children are always watching how we lead.

My husband, John, a retired electrical union member and Vietnam Veteran, and I have called Middletown home for nearly thirty years after choosing the community as the place to raise our family because of its outstanding schools. Inspired by my mother, a dedicated elementary school teacher for more than forty years, I have spent decades serving others through the Air National Guard, the PTA, school volunteer work, grant writing, and community leadership.

As a parent and grandmother of Middletown students, I believe schools should bring communities together and that adults have a responsibility to model the values they hope to pass on to the next generation. I am running for the Board of Education because I believe respectful leadership, listening to one another, and keeping students at the center are the foundation of strong schools.
